If this not possible follow these directions. By your own transport: Motorbike, jeep, pushbike or feet - first get a good road map for the North of Thailand (available at good bookshops anywhere in Thailand). From Chiangmai take Route 107 north, and follow the signs for Pai and Mae Hong Song, Route 1095, to get to the Pai Valley. Once you are near Pai you will see the signs for Cafe Del Doi which is 7km, if you come from Chiangmai, before Pai town. Its a really beautiful trip, straight through the mountains and jungle, it will take a couple of hours but its worth every minute, get your camera ready!! Local transport: There are several buses every day of the year going to Pai from the Arcade bus station in Chiangmai (see the timetable below). If you want to come straight to Cafe Del Doi, ask the bus driver to stop in Ban Tha-pai, Cafe del Doi. If youre coming from Mae Hong Son take Route 1095 (the main road) to Pai, pass Pai and continue Route 1095 (the main road) for about 8km towards Chiangmai and look for the Cafe del Doi signs. From Mae Hong Son by bus: take the bus from the bus station to Pai and in Pai you will see the Cafe Del Doi signs (*we are nearby the Tha-Pai Hot Springs).
